The LVL Brow lift and tint. 45? including brow shape. 50?

The LVL brow lift is similar to the lash lift with regards to straightening the brow hair from the root. however that is where the similarity ends.

Our brows are considered to be the 'FRAMEWORK' of the face, therefore having wrongly shaped or coloured brows WILL alter the overall look of the face.

The purpose of the brow lift is to define and 'set' the hair of the brow into either the natural shape of the brow or into a desired shape to enhance or create a particular look.

This procedure is excellent for controlling unruly brow hairs that are difficult to keep in shape. As well as for 'patchy' brows and using the remaining hair to fill in the gaps.

It is also an excellent alternative to those either unable or not wanting to use semi- permanent tattooing procedures by creating fuller effect- providing there is enough existing hair to work with.

It can also be used as a primary guideline in creating a template look prior to having a more permanent look with cosmetic tattooing.

Benefits of the LVL brow lift:

  • Creates a desired natural/ alternative look for the brows.
  • Omit's the need to use brow gels, powder's & pencil's.
  • Last's for a minimum 6-8 weeks.
  • Alternative having to have cosmetic tattooing.

    The treatment process itself is exactly the same as the LVL lash lift; including the time and the colour boost and mask. However it does not include a brow shape, which can be incorporated into the treatment but at an additional cost.

An aftercare procedure leaflet is provided and it is strongly advised to adhere to it, so as to prevent the treatment from not being as effective.

A patch test is recommended at least 24 hours prior to the LVL treatment.

TINTING..

There are various ways to change the look of your eyebrows..tweezing, waxing, threading, brow lifting, semi-permanent tattooing ( all of which, besides threading, we provide at the salon). There are also ways to enhance your lashes..mascara, lash curlers, lifts & extensions, again, other treatments also provided at the salon.

However, there is also Tinting, which is an extremely effective way of adding definition to these areas and lasts between 4-6 weeks.

Professional grade lash & brow tints are specifically formulated using semi-permanent vegetable dye, to add colour, shape, definition and thickness to dull eyebrows & lashes.

These procedures are safe providing they are performed by a trained therapist using approved professional grade products. Therefore it is strongly recommended that you do not perform 'DIY' or at 'Home' dyeing products to avoid a severe chemical reaction and best left to the professionals.

How does tinting work?

Tinting gives added definition to the area in question, making it unnecessary to wear mascara if tinting the lashes and omits the use of brow pencils & powders, if tinting the brows. The tint usually lasts between 4-6 weeks.

The lash tint procedure: 11?

  • The therapist applies a protective cream under the eye to prevent staining the skin.
  • A cotton eye pad is placed on top of the cream.
  • You then shut your eyes.
  • The therapist applies the tint of choice/ recommended to the lashes using a fine brush.
  • The tint is left on between 10-15 minutes to enable the lash hair to fully absorb the pigment.
  • After, the excess tint is removed with warm water.

This is a quick and inexpensive process that provides weeks of definition.

It's great for the summer, when you want to splash in the pool or ocean without fear of your mascara running- tint does not run in water. Or any occasion..Weddings, Parties, whereby you want your lashes to 'POP'. It will also enhance the overall look of mascara if you still wanted to use it.


It is the perfect quick fix alternative to the everyday time consuming use of mascara, as well as avoiding messy mascara application.


It is the ideal solution for greying/ light coloured lashes, as the pigment darkens the lashes, making them look far more dramatic and 'eye opening'.

The brow tint procedure: 7?

Eyebrow tinting helps to fill in the brows that require definition and a fuller look to achieve a bolder look that can redefine the whole face, with the tint usually lasting 6-8 weeks.

  • The therapist applies a protective cream around the brows.
  • Dye is applied to the brows using a fine brush.
  • The dye is left on according to depth of colour required, ie: 30 seconds - 1 minute per brow.
  • Sometimes a sequence called 'wipe on/wipe off' is used to build up a more accurate colour tone.
  • The excess tint is removed using warm water. So now you all about lash & brow tinting- the pro's, con's & risks - do not try at home! Why not experience this much sought after treatment for yourself and enjoy the wonderful benefits of tinting!
